Host/Hostess - Full time

General Summary of Position

Job Summary:
As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for effectively communicating with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock. The Host/Hostess must feel comfortable entering patients rooms and interacting with our patients.

This is a full time opportunity. It is a requirement to work rotating weekends.

Primary Duties:

• * Takes patient food orders according to dietary/allergy restrictions.

• * Delivers food carts to correct floor or patient area.

• * Serves trays to patients and assisting with opening containers or cutting foods when requested.

• * Records the amount and type of special food items to patients

• * Collect trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers.

• * Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• * High school diploma or GED preferred.

• * 1 year of work related experience preferred.
