POSITION OVERVIEW ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Investigate overages related to shipments at service center locations for quality descriptions and placement Assist and serve as point of contact for service centers regarding disposition requests Validate control points in disposition requests, mitigating risk in resolution Supplies service centers with authorization for disposition requests Process disposition requests timely to meet company goals Support claims reduction initiatives and improved customer experience Supply external customers with undeliverable freight notice seeking disposition resolution Ensure adequate freight related charges/accessorial charges are applied accurately and timely Provide center educational opportunities to leadership to optimize business performance Adhoc reporting as required Provide information to government agencies and other customers as directed by Security Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. QUALIFICATIONS Must possess high school diploma or (GED) equivalent Two (2) years' experience in clerical support or transportation operations Experience and ability to use Microsoft software Word, Excel and Outlook Basic knowledge of OS&D fundamentals Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of internal and external customers Basic knowledge of LTL freight handling procedures and daily operations Well organized and detail oriented WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to travel to meet business needs Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: Starting Rate of Pay: $18.86 / hour FedEx Freight is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
