As a Security Professional - Data Center in Orangeburg, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.25 - $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
