As a Security Professional - Screener in Smithfield, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors and staff, and maintaining open communication to address concerns. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology, media, or telecom environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter potential issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
• Assist in monitoring access points and verifying credentials to help maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
