One of the largest healthcare providers in the State of Oregon is interested in hiring a long term Intake Specialist to their team in Portland, Oregon! This position is fully onsite, has opportunity for growth, and pays $20/hr., Description * Answer calls from patients regarding their home medical equipment orders * Insurance verification * Data entry of call information * Review daily order logs * Verify patient information, prescription details, and shipping information for validity * Cross reference data between internal and external systems * Open reports in Excel, sort and filter data Skills & Qualifications * 1+ year of experience providing customer service over the phone * Healthcare experience preferred * Familiarity with insurance verification preferred * 2+ months of experience performing data entry * Ability to use Excel to: open spreadsheets, sort data * Use multiple screens and programs at once (most use 3 screens and have 4-6 programs running simultaneously) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
