This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain branded products. Weil-McLain is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.

Job Summary:
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. Quality Engineering functions to improve the company-wide cost of quality and ensure products, service and manufacturing systems meet customer and regulatory agency requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
While each day brings new opportunities your core responsibilities will be:

1. Maintain Weil-McLain's Certifications to agency standards through:
a. Compliance Audits by ASME, CSA, and UL
b. Product Testing and Performance Criteria, i.e. ASME Burst Test, CSA Boiler Test, IBR Testing
2. Maintaining Quality Assurance activities such as Quality Manual, Quality Plans, Quality Metrics, Procedures and Specifications to current requirements.
3. Evaluate manufacturing problems, product problems, and field complaints for opportunities to improve manufacturing and product performance.
4. Complete root cause analysis to resolve supplier issues to assist with field failure resolution.
5. Partner with supply chain team and vendors on compliance issues, to find workable solutions.
6. Conduct and/or participate in activities, such as Process FMEA's, Value Engineering Projects, Design of Experiments, Process/Product Capability Studies, Field Sales/Service Meetings, Product Liability Meetings, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
* Understanding of Quality Assurance Systems and Applications, such as ISO 9000, Six Sigma Methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.
* Must have Strong computer skills with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.

* Flexible, open to change and able to handle ever-changing priorities

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related fields.
* Experience managing and implementing projects - required
* 7 - 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment - preferred
* 3 + years experience in Quality Assurance - required
* ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) -preferred
* Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt - preferred
