About the Role:

Staffmark is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Driver to join our team for regional food product deliveries. You will operate automatic 36-43' trucks equipped with lift gates, ensuring timely deliveries to schools and restaurants. This is a heavy-touch freight role involving the use of a 2-wheel hand dolly for unloading. Compensation:



  • CDL A: $28/hour + $50 daily per diem for overnights (up to $250/week) + Overtime after 40 hours
  • CDL B: $25/hour + $50 daily per diem for overnights (up to $250/week) + Overtime after 40 hours



Hours:



  • Regional Routes: Out 2 nights per week, Monday to Friday - No weekends!
  • Training: Two weeks on the same shift but with a different route and driver.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver reefer freight to schools and restaurants along regional routes.
  • Unload products safely and efficiently using a 2-wheel hand dolly.
  • Operate automatic trucks with lift gates, maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
  • Ensure accurate delivery documentation and proper handling of products.

Qualifications:



  • Valid CDL A or CDL B License with a clean MVR.
  • One year of CDL A driving experience within the last 3 years.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
  • DOT Medical Card required.
  • Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Previous delivery experience preferred-reefer van experience is a plus.
  • Strong work history-we value stability and reliability.
