Bridge Design Engineer - Railroad & Roadway Bridges Job Type: Full-time / Direct Hire Are you a hands-on Bridge Design Engineer with a passion for structural integrity and practical solutions? We're looking for an experienced professional who can jump right into challenging projects involving railroad and roadway bridges-with a focus on load rating and design. What You'll Be Doing: Perform Bridge Load Ratings for: Railroad Bridges with train loadings Roadway Bridges with truck loadings Lead or support Bridge Design for: Railroad and roadway structures using current codes and standards Utilize engineering software to execute complex calculations and modeling Key Tools & Software: AASHTOWare - for load rating of highway bridges STAAD Pro - for structural analysis and design MERLIN-DASH - for railroad bridge design What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in load rating and designing bridges for railroad and highway applications Proficiency in relevant software tools listed above Working knowledge of: AASHTO code for roadway bridges AREMA code for railroad bridges Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Note: EIT or PE license is a plus, but not required.
