JOB DESCRIPTION The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in developing and implementing marketing programs and projects across one or more business segments. This position supports efforts around customer acquisition ,enrollee retention, product marketing, and portfolio maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES Manages segment and marketing program plans to support company efforts to increase new sales and retention Manages marketing and communication efforts aimed at customers and enrollees Works with Creative Services, Marketing, Legal/Compliance and/or outside agencies to update and/or develop marketing collateral and enrollee documents as needed Responsible for maintenance of marketing collateral and enrollee documents Collaborates with internal cross-functional partners including Underwriting, Actuarial, Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance and Technology; and external partners including customers, distribution partners, advertising agencies and print, mail house and fulfillment vendors Develops program-specific tracking information and analyzes results Supports segment portfolio maintenance activities Supports the development of strategic plans by compiling and analyzing internal and/or external data Researches, resolves or compiles information to support customer service and partner requests QUALIFICATIONS 2 years experience + Bachelors degree; 4+ years experience in corporate marketing department or agency preferred Experience leading or supporting development and implementation of marketing strategy, tactics and approaches including direct marketing, digital and web/on-line Experience supporting sales and sales enablement preferred Excellent verbal and written communication including strong composition, editing and proofreading skills Ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent communicator and creative thinker Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects, be flexible and work with ambiguity Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency Advanced verbal and written communications skills, including presentations Proficiency in computer programs such as Adobe Suite and publishing applications Experience in Workfront and High Spot preferred Healthcare or dental industry experience preferred Base Pay Information The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Behind the smile!
