Job Summary: Under general supervision, provide safe assistance with all facets of projects in varying stages of the industrial construction process. Includes estimating, productivity reporting, preparation of bid packages, equipment and material processing, paperwork, customer submittals and other day to day functions needed in planning, coordination, and execution of industrial projects. This role operates in a fast paced, time sensitive environment, working with multiple different project personnel. Requires professional communication with team members and stakeholders.

Experience/Education Requirements:



  • Technical or undergraduate degree in business or construction management, engineering or related field of study, OR at least two years' experience in supporting industrial, commercial or service projects.
  • Technical aptitude and advanced computer skills; MS Office (excel, word, power point). MS Project. iPad and iPhone experience helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills; ability to schedule/coordinate projects to meet expressed deadlines.
  • Valid State Driver's license with a clean driving record.


Hours and Travel: Includes up to 50%. Work may include 8-to-10-hour days on jobsites or in the main office, may include weekend work as needed for project support.

  • Have knowledge of and aggressively adhere to the required safety standards and requirements of the company and our customers.
  • Prepare bid packages and other paperwork as required (PO's, submittals, etc.).
  • Develop schedules, submittals, material lists, and as built drawings.
  • Assist in compiling cost estimates and proposal preparation.
  • Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with on-site policy and procedures, including tracking and creating of RFI's, transmitting and tracking of submittals, and assistance to field personnel with document follow-through. Assists in document and progress tracking throughout the duration of projects, including billings, WIPs and other progress/financial tracking measures.
  • Research and understand technical engineering information to ensure projects comply with all engineering standards, codes, specification and design instructions.
  • Assist in evaluation and help identify solutions of potential field issues, referring them to a Project Manager or Superintendent for final submission and documentation.
  • Work with field, other trades, and customers collaboratively
  • Provide assistance during all project phases and perform other duties as assigned.

This role will be based out of our Duluth MN office. The pay range is $26.50-$39.80 per hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual discretionary bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.Some benefits include
