DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for operating equipment and single-chassis vehicles with a gross vehicle weight ranging from 10,001 to 32,000 pounds, primarily utilized in construction, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will encompass the use of various 3-point hitch implements and dump trucks. Key responsibilities include snow removal, cindering, and performing yard maintenance, as well as utility operations. Additionally, when not engaged in operating vehicles or equipment, you will carry out manual labor, such as loading and unloading trucks. You will also conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment or assist automotive mechanics with more significant repairs. Interested in learning more? - This is seasonal full-time employment without benefits
- The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment March 2026.
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
