Compensation: $100,000 -$130,000 DOE/Base + Benefits + Bonus opportunity!

BBSI has partnered with a well-established and innovative leader of commercial solar projects ranging from 250 kW to 2.5 MW across the US. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Solar Project Manager with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for clean energy to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial solar EPC projects.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all mechanical and electrical phases of commercial solar installations, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and design-build partners.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, manage budgets, and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, track performance metrics, and lead cross-functional coordination.
  • Approve billing, monitor expenses, and ensure project profitability through accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Evaluate and hire subcontractors, coordinate lead times, and manage on-site activities to align with project goals.
  • Track scope of work and change orders while maintaining contract compliance and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and field best practices.
  • Proven experience managing EPC contracts and driving performance within budget and schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain professional under pressure.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, OneDrive).
  • Experience with industry-specific tools such as AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVsyst, and Sage 100 Contractor.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software such as GanttProject and Procore.
  • Capable of performing cost and profitability analysis to support project planning and execution.
