Key Responsibilities:
30% - Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF personnel on aircrew flight equipment operations and safety.
25% - Inspect, maintain, fit, and repair helmets, oxygen masks, G-suits, gloves, flight suits, NVGs, parachutes, survival kits, and rescue equipment.
15% - Provide direction, oversight, and technical assistance in equipment functionality andavailability.
10% - Use and instruct IqAF in proper application of technical publications and schematics.
10% - Maintain and document accurate records and equipment logs.
5% - Recommend improvements to enhance aircrew availability and safety.
5% - Perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.
Material & Equipment Directly Used
Aircrew flight equipment (e.g., NVGs, parachutes, G-suits), survival and rescue kits, life support systems, technical manuals, Microsoft Office tools.
Working Environment
Deployed operational environment in Iraq with exposure to office, shop, and field conditions. Close coordination with U.S. and foreign military personnel Training, Advising, Assisting, and Integrating Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) F-16 personnel. Emphasis on safety and security protocols.
Physical Activities
Standing, lifting, fitting and repairing aircrew equipment, and handling survival kits. Capable of worldwide travel including deployment to Middle East locations.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) or civilian equivalent in AFE or related field.
Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in this specialty field.
Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance or interim acceptable; positive program/customer review; strong interpersonal and training skills; capable of worldwide travel including all Middle East countries.
Skills and Technology Used: Microsoft Office, Logistics Management System tools, technical publications, aircrew safety and survival maintenance practices.
