Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Vendor Team Leader in El Monte to lead a team of vendor coordinators. The Vendor Team Leader will ensure maintenance and equipment vendor expectations are being met and provide solutions when they are not.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of vendor associates.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and coach associates.
  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance of Schneider's equipment.
  • Ensure vendors are on-track with getting equipment repaired in a timely manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all things maintenance- and vendor-related when working with internal Schneider customers.
  • Act as the point of contact for invoice resolution, parts assistance and warranty questions.
  • Perform regular on-site visits to vendors.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize a variety of projects and tasks.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Able to travel 1-2 times per year.
