We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Data Science Engineer to join our Optical Solution team. This role will focus on developing data-driven tools and applications that leverage AI technologies to enhance optical line system design and testing. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of data analysis and be eager to learn advanced AI techniques.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives, collect data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven tools and applications for optical line systems.
  • Perform data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making processes.
  • Support the integration of AI-empowered solutions into existing design and test automation systems.
  • Contribute to the testing and validation of AI-enabled applications.
  • Continuously learn and apply advanced AI methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fundamental understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and a strong desire to learn and implement advanced AI techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • A degree from an accredited college with a major in Data Science.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial.

{OPTION 1 - GENERAL SALARY RANGE}

For this role, we anticipate paying $XXXXX - $XXXXX per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

This role is part of the collective bargaining agreement and the starting pay for this role is set at $XX.XX per hour.
