As a Security Professional - Government Patrol in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer service needs, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we are committed to working together with integrity and a people-first approach.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the assigned area.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of TSA Terrorism Awareness Training is required and may be completed post hire.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required.
• A valid driver's license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
