Audiologist AUDIOLOGY - WC Full Time 84813BR Job Summary Reporting to the Audiology Clinic Manager and Practice Administrator, the Audiologist I provides differential diagnosis of auditory function for clients, birth to 21 years of age. The Audiologist I coordinates therapeutic and educational interventions for clients. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $54.90 - $72.45 (Hourly Rate). Minimum 6 months of experience in pediatric Audiology. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in pediatric Audiology preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skilled in the accurate assessment of auditory function of infants, preschoolers and difficult to test children. Skilled in counseling families. Flexible and sensitive to people and situations. Thorough knowledge of pediatric Audiology and child development issues. Hands on experience with electrophysiological techniques. Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency with PC's. Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred. Physical Requirements: Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms clients and/or instruction.
