What You'll Do:

The Sales Service Representative's essential responsibilities include:



  • Managing an assigned geographical sales area for Vulcan Materials.
  • Managing customer relationships at the job site level
  • Coordinating and attending Pre-Construction meetings
  • Identify, track and communicate project leads to the SSC (Sales Service Center) for follow-up, market intelligence, quote creation, and pricing.
  • Provide job site service and first-line technical support, including quality control, safety, and environmental oversight.
  • Manage key project elements, including correspondence, schedules, specifications, testing, and statistical analysis of service and product performance.
  • Prepare, manage and support the generation of submittals & revisions
  • Jobsite promotion of Vulcan RMC value-added products, including specialty chemicals, fibers, and color concrete.
  • Intelligence gathering for CRM, including project leads, GC, subcontractor, and supplier awards.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

Education. A college degree is preferred.

Experience. Previous sales experience in the Aggregate, Construction or Ready-Mix industry is desired.

Communication. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying product information, understanding customer needs, and building rapport.

Customer Relationship Management. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers is key to repeat business and referrals.

Technical Knowledge. A solid understanding of ready mix concrete, including different types, applications, and performance characteristics, is crucial for providing informed recommendations and solutions.

Sales Strategy. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies, including lead generation, territory management, and sales forecasting, is crucial for achieving sales targets.

Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $101,400 - $141,960 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
