Job Summary:

Belden's Technical Copywriting Specialist will have a leading role in supporting the representation of the Belden brand. This role will develop, often technical, written content in support of all global and regional marketing projects and campaigns, and ensure all content deliverables are high quality, aligned with Belden's brand and are completed within agreed-upon deadlines. This role reports to the Manager, Corporate Content.

This role is eligible for remote work; Central or Eastern time work hours are preferrable.

Responsibilities:




  • Create and edit technical content: Research and write clear, concise and engaging content that explains complex technical concepts.
  • Collaborate with internal & externalsubject matter experts: Work closely with engineers, product managers and a variety of other cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop marketing and branding materials: Produce content for brochures, websites, social media, and other marketing channels that highlight the Belden brand, solutions and products.
  • Maintain consistency: Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.
  • Research and analyze: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor material an writing efficiency tools to create relevant and compelling content.



Required Skills and Experience




  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical writing or copywriting for industrial ortechnical industries such as Automation, Software, Engineering Services or Manufacturing.
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable content.
  • Experience developing white papers, application guides, website copy and product collateral are a plus.
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with technical products and concepts; ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other writing tools.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $90,000 to 120,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
