*Professional Summary*
The Family Support Representative serves as the primary contact for families, supporting them throughout their enrollment journey. Reporting to the Supervisor of Student Services within the Customer Engagement & Retention Department, this remote role ensures a seamless experience for students and their families by providing exceptional customer support, onboarding assistance, and academic placement guidance. Operating within Eastern or Central Standard Time, the Family Support Representative fosters strong relationships with families, ensuring student success and retention through proactive engagement and advocacy. *Key Responsibilities* * Assist families via inbound calls, addressing inquiries and processing account updates. * Advocate for students by guiding them through their enrollment process and resolving concerns. * Review student accounts to identify outstanding tasks, providing recommendations for success. * Maintain accurate documentation of student records in online systems. * Ensure workflow efficiency, data integrity, effective communication, and retention strategies. * Conduct outbound calls to support onboarding and student retention efforts. * Adhere to FERPA regulations to protect student privacy and confidentiality. * Troubleshoot and de-escalate family concerns with patience and professionalism. * Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the department's mission. *Skills:* * Strong problem-solving skills with goal-driven outcomes. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. * Self-confidence, patience, and empathy in engaging with students and families. * Adaptability to multi-generational needs and diverse backgrounds. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). * Familiarity with FERPA and privacy regulations. *Qualifications (Preferred):* * Experience in customer service and call center environments. * Experience in supporting students and families in a fast-paced setting. * Experience working in a virtual environment. *Shift:* Monday - Friday, 6am- 3pm PST *Duration:* 4 months *Start Date:* 7/7 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
