Manager, Marketing - Hospital Apheresis

JOB SUMMARY

Working without significant direction, the Marketing Manager, Hospital Therapeutic Apheresis will lead the execution of marketing strategies focused on hospital-based apheresis centers and healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Clinical Apheresis Marketing, this role will drive growth within the hospital segment by managing trade shows, product communications, device launches, and lifecycle management initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with hospital customers and cross-functional partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Coordinate efforts with manufacturing, engineering, quality, worldwide sales, and other functional areas to produce innovative solutions that meet the needs of hospital-based customers.
  • Establish and be held accountable for the achievement of sales, adoption, and market development goals for assigned hospital-facing therapies and programs.
  • Collect and analyze competitor information and market dynamics to inform positioning and strategy for therapeutic indications primarily delivered in hospitals.
  • Develop and coordinate product launch plans and customer-facing tools for new initiatives tailored to hospital-based clinicians and decision-makers.
  • Organize, coordinate, and present product and therapy seminars for hospital customers, sales associates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales and clinical teams to support field enablement through sales training, in-service programs, and tailored messaging for hospital stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support for hospital-based product lines, including awareness of inventory, manufacturing, and customer experience issues.
  • Monitor and analyze hospital-specific business metrics including procedure volumes, therapy mix, and utilization trends.
  • Develop and implement introductory business plans for new programs, partnerships, or enhancements aimed at growing therapeutic apheresis in the hospital setting.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing managers, clinical educators, and regional teams to ensure alignment with strategic growth initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of customer communication tools and programs with an emphasis on elevating hospital awareness and engagement.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelors degree, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 7 years experience, preferably in the area of marketing and/or sales.

Skills




  • Extensive knowledge of product applications/therapies and the markets of the product(s) for which the incumbent has responsibility.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales/marketing strategic planning and program delivery.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and worldwide markets and global marketing strategy.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with physicians and other medical professionals, as well as with all functions and levels within the business organization.
  • Ability to understand scientific facts and package them into a cohesive communication model for customers and sales associates.
  • Ability to develop financial analysis to justify product or service investments.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, and distribution.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Target Pay Range:$108,300.00to$135,300.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:10.0%
