Job Description

Position Summary:

Lead and optimize end-to-end warehouse operations that support Permaswage's integrated manufacturing environment. This role ensures product flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery across internal and external customers while fostering continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and team development.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

* Foster positive employee relationships enhancing morale, productivity, and efficiency

* Continuously improve processes by developing and implementing operating procedures and training programs and detailed work instructions

* Identify and automate manual processes, recommend solutions to the Director of Supply Chain, and lead implementation

* Perform resource and staffing planning aligned to production plans and forecasts

* Establish and monitor performance metrics for packaging, receiving, and inventory control

* Provide leadership through effective communication, training, and development

* Actively allocate resources to efficiently complete tasks in receiving, warehousing, shipping, and packaging

* Develop and manage order fulfillment processes, including KPIs, scorecards, and deliverables

* Coordinate and monitor inventory movement and shipping activities

* Ensure accuracy and efficiency of inbound and outbound inventory, including raw materials and outsourced production

* Manage inventory transactions, perform cycle counts, and conduct physical inventories as needed

* Arrange or rearrange warehouse equipment to support business growth

* Hire, coach, and develop high-performing warehouse and logistics teams

Qualifications:

Required:

* Demonstrated accomplishments in a manufacturing environment

* Demonstrated accomplishments in leadership accomplishments

* Ability to analyze production data and develop solutions

* High visible energy, sense of urgency, and ownership

* Effective communication skills to employees and upper management team

* Ability to manage high performance teams

* Ability to manage several tasks and priorities at a time

* Experience owning and managing inventory in a warehouse environment

* Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls

* Track record of successfully leading logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, including team management and process improvement

* Strong understanding of WMS/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

* Experience managing inbound/outbound logistics, freight, and inventory controls

* Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

* 2-5 years of manufacturing experience (2+ years of lead/supervisory experience)

Desired:

* Experience in an aerospace machining environment

* Previous experience managing hourly employees

* Continuous Improvement background

* Microsoft excel programming or other computer programming skills

* Bachelor's degree in technical/business preferred

* Experience scaling warehouse operations

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $103,000 to $130,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
