We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GIS professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of a range of GIS software, with ArcGIS Pro being the primary tool used daily.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Utilize spatial data, perform geospatial analysis, create maps, and manage geodatabases using ArcGIS Pro.





  • Develop, implement, and maintain GIS systems and solutions using various tools and technologies.





  • Collaborate with team members to share and publish spatial data through Portal for ArcGIS.





  • Design and configure web maps and services within a portal environment.





  • Work with Python to automate GIS workflows, process data, and perform analysis tasks within ArcGIS.





  • Develop custom scripts to work with geospatial data using Python.





Required Skills (in order of importance):




  • ArcGIS Pro: Proficiency in daily use, including spatial data management, geospatial analysis, map creation, and geodatabase management.





  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook): Experience in report creation, data analysis, and presentation preparation.





  • Python: Ability to write custom scripts for automating GIS workflows, data processing, and performing analysis tasks within ArcGIS.





  • Portal for ArcGIS: Experience with publishing, sharing, and collaborating on spatial data, including configuring and managing web maps and services.





  • Field Maps: Understanding of mobile data collection, real-time updates, and integration with GIS systems.





  • SDE (Spatial Database Engine): Familiarity with managing spatial data within an enterprise geodatabase and data design.





  • CAD (Computer-Aided Design): Occasional requirement for working with CAD drawings in a GIS environment, converting, and analyzing CAD data within ArcGIS.





Candidate Specification:




  • Education: Degree in geographical information systems, geography, computer science, surveying or degree in an engineering field





  • Years of experience: minimum 5 years in GIS, it is advantageous to have additional years of experience in construction, surveying or another related field





  • Self-motivated individual who is eager to apply their existing skills in a dynamic work environment.





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new challenges.





  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.





  • Passion for GIS technology and willingness to stay up to date with industry trends.

The expected salary for this position is$95,000- $116,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
