Installation Support Specialist Category: Engineering Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-385263 Installation Support Specialist needed for a direct-hire opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client in Hillsboro, OR. This position is for a pharmaceutical company, and they are looking for candidates with bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with Five years of semiconductor automation experience; or equivalent education and experience. Key Responsibilities Provide high quality installation plans to assure the safety, quality and on-time completions of installation projects. Prepare preliminary installation schedules, resource forecasts, logistics plans, budgets and risk assessments. Communicate with project stakeholders to assure understanding of project requirements. Be point of contact with our customers to gather requirements present installation plans and respond to requests for information. Be owner of continuous improvement process for installation business processes. Design and develop new installation processes. Develop installation training programs and define training requirements. Conduct and help facilitate a safe working environment. Present Project Plans to Safety Team for review. Be familiar with business process development, mapping, and continuous improvement processes. Be self-motivated worker in order to analyze, define, communicate, and solve business improvements. Support Sales in Creating Installation Proposals including proposed budgets, schedules, unique installation tools and procedures, and logistics plans. Forecast and request project resource assignments. Be a point of contact and support project changes, revise schedules, resource forecasts, logistics plans, and procurement plans. Create and Maintain Installation Project Forecasts Support the procurement team in finding, qualifying and selecting installation contractors and suppliers. Participate in Project and Procurement Lessons Learned meetings. Roll-up project reporting for company executive reporting. Be a Project Management Office team member supporting site installation teams for successful completion of installation projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with Five years of semiconductor automation experience; or equivalent education and experience. Site/Project management skills. Mechanical/electrical background Familiarity with more than one set of the following pieces of equipment operation and maintenance: Stocker, conveyors, AGV's and/or OHT systems Ability to us Microsoft Office Programs (including Excel and MS Project). Ability to read and understand equipment drawings and identify parts through drawings. Safety orientated. Must pass Level III skill set training course and test materials and be capable of implementing the knowledge to system support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variable. Ability to travel more than 50% and remain at site for extended periods (travels may include overseas sites). Opportunity is Calling, Apply Now!
