Purpose of Position
The Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in administering all aspects of the admissions program for the College of Law. This position involves strategic planning, recruitment, relationship management, candidate evaluation, and managing and updating the day-to-day software development activities for all communications and CRM systems utilized by the admissions team. The Director collaborates closely with the Dean, the Director of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, and other stakeholders to meet enrollment goals and maintain the competitive position of the law school.
Primary Responsibilities


  • Application Process Management: Develop and oversee the application process for all Chase Law degree programs. Serve as a key member of the admissions committee, which will require keen judgment in evaluating applications, recommending actions on candidates, and preparing and assessing enrollment prediction reports.

  • Recruitment Strategy Execution: Independently implement recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals, including the development of innovative marketing initiatives, social media outreach, and advising on budget utilization. Travel to and present at recruitment events, and maintain strategic relationships with professional contacts and advisors.

  • Admitted Student Outreach: Create, organize, and manage outreach efforts, recruitment events, and programming for admitted students to achieve enrollment goals. Demonstrate leadership in developing effective communication strategies.

  • Admitted Student Advising: Provide expert guidance to admitted students on enrollment processes, academic and administrative requirements, registration, financial aid, career development, and bar passage statistics. Utilize best practices to address student concerns and provide tailored advice.

  • Scholarship Committee Participation: Serve as a key member of the scholarship committee. Analyze data to independently adjust scholarship processes and awards as necessary, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Reporting and Data Management: Prepare comprehensive reports and respond to data requests from leadership and committees, including those required by accrediting agencies. Take lead responsibility in data analysis and presentation.

  • Information Technology Management: Manage IT needs for enrollment goals, including CRM systems and admission platforms. Independently develop and update best practices for CRM, social media, and the admissions website, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.

  • Compliance and Data Integrity: Ensure the highest standards of data integrity and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, LSAC best practices, ABA regulations, and NKU rules. Proactively address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate effectively with the administrative team and other stakeholders. Know when to consult with the administrative team before making unilateral decisions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of law school admissions processes, data analysis, and strategic planning to drive enrollment goals.
  • Skilled in CRM systems, database management, and interpreting admissions metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities with students and stakeholders. Proven organizational, administrative, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
