Job Description: This position is responsible for assuming leadership roles and assisting in the successful daily management of the parts warehouse functions. The individual in this position is responsible for responding to company needs in a positive, caring manner while showing a sense of urgency in communicating with customers in the processing of their parts orders. This position assists the Parts Warehouse Supervisor in providing direction and support for parts warehouse and personnel to ensure that customer needs are satisfied while adhering to company policies and procedures. Essential Functions:
- All parts orders pulling transactions will be completed in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to maintain customer satisfaction as measured by customer surveys by both Caterpillar and Holt.
- Complete all stock replenishment functions in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status. Progress and/or errors in the picking or pulling of inventory will be noted by supervisory staff, as per inventory error reports and/or branch store feedback.
- The parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards will be maintained in a neat and orderly manner as determined by management to meet the company's safety and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications: A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience required.
- Previous supervisor or leadership experience highly desired.
- Must have GED or High School diploma.
- Must be proficient with computers. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person with good people skills.
- Must be able to hours of the position which are 7 AM - 5 PM - Monday - Friday.
- Must have a steady employment history.
- Must be capable of accurate order processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to interact well with customers and fellow employees.
- Must have a valid drivers' license.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 10 times a day.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
- Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
- Must self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks in a timely manner.
