The Backend .NET Developer guides technology adoption across product teams, builds, maximizes the capabilities and skills within the Chapter, and manages and supports (employees and contingent labor). The Software Engineering Team Lead is responsible for the development and growth of their members and the building of competencies. They are responsible for team composition optimization, reviewing priorities and assessing resource and/or backlog redirection, metrics associated with talent evolution, and all other administrative responsibilities within the Chapter.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Work in a tier 2 Support team who own critical shared services products to support development teams usage and troubleshooting solve challenging business problems.

  • Build elegant, scalable, extensible, cost-effective enhancments and bug fixes with an eye toward innovation and agility.

  • Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to support Developers on Product Team use shared products and services

  • Design, write, unit test, document, and troubleshoot application code to successfully deliver project-based work.

  • Work in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum.

  • Learn new technologies and know industry standards, best practices, and trends.

Location and Travel details:
  • This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed)

Required for This Opportunity:
  • 5-7 years of Software engineering and design experience with large scale business applications in a fast-paced iterative development environment.

  • 3-5 years of experience in public cloud (Azure).

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand and work with multiple services and development teams to solve problems

  • Experience with C#, .NET, data structures, basic algorithms, and applying object-oriented principles and design patterns.

  • Strong API design and development skills.

  • Solid understanding of Authentication models to help drive integration of the Authorization technologies with our Clients data sources to obtain and run user data.

  • Observability skills, scripting skills, automation, pipeline CI/CD experience, DevOps Azure/AWS.

  • Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio and Git.

  • Proficiency with relational databases craft and query construction and optimization

  • Strong understanding of architectural principles of software development, modelling, and security.

  • Strong understanding of the deployment pipeline tools.

  • Sound understanding of GraphQL, modern security models and integration with Services (like Hasura) and RDBMS skills.
