Job Family Maintenance Discipline Electrical & Instrumentation Control Mechanic Career Level O3 Salary Range $43.40 Note for Salary This position offers biannual pay increases for employees that are satisfactorily progressing towards qualification, meeting the company's expectations and standards, and adhering to workplace policies. The maximum pay rate is typically achieved at the career level within two to three years. Job Family Description Maintenance/production personnel support the operational success of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, buildings, systems, and shops. Professionals in these roles are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment, machinery, and production processes to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. Discipline Description Electrical and Instrumentation Control (E&IC) personnel are responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical systems. They troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment and solve technical problems in nuclear facility settings Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Daily responsibilities of a Lineman might include installing meters, repairing overhead lines and structures or inspecting power lines for possible repair or replacement. Required Qualifications Candidates must have completed ACT WorkKeys Skills Assessment and achieved minimum scores of 2 in Workplace Observation; 3 in Graphic Literacy and 4 in Applied Technology. Test scores must be within the last five years. Official transcripts must be provided to the company for considerations of employment. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
