SUBJECT: JOB OPENING - CRACKER OPERATION

We have the following job available in our Cracker Operation:

JOB TITLE:3rd Shift Processing General Bakeshop Helper

# OF OPENINGS: ONE (1)

BASE RATE/HOUR: $27.48

HOURS: 10:25 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (normal workweek Monday - Friday, but hours may vary with

processing assignment and production schedule) Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To include a wide variety of assignments scheduled by immediate supervisor in the Cracker Processing area.
• Positions in which the incumbent will substitute or provide temporary coverage include, but are not limited to, Utility, Scaling, Mixing, Laminators, Production Relief, and Ovens.
• Rotational job assignments in the Processing area will apply.
• The incumbent will be assigned sanitation duties, and will be required to operate a lift truck and powered pallet jack.
• Since duties will include covering for/relieving Processing Machine Operators, candidates must possess mechanical aptitude.
• The Processing GBH must support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to: serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which are necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor and/or manager.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This job will require the successful candidate to perform basic preventive maintenance (Operator Asset Care) on equipment, as well as other Operator-Driven Reliability (ODR) duties including, but not limited to cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
