Vaco is partnering with a fantastic Logistics Company who is looking to add a CSR to their team! This is a contract to hire position. Customer Service Representative (CSR) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will receive and schedule orders via phone and email, utilizing a proprietary order entry and billing system. Ideal candidates will be quick learners with the ability to adapt to complex and evolving customer demands and priorities. The CSR will manage shipments across multiple company-owned and third-party facilities throughout the United States. This role combines elements of order processing, logistics coordination, and customer relationship management. A strong understanding of shipping and logistics, attention to customer-specific requirements, and the ability to collaborate across internal departments is essential. You will communicate with operations, sales, accounting, compliance officers, and various support functions to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Job Duties Communicate with customers by phone or email to provide information, process orders, cancel accounts, reschedule services, or update account details. Ensure customer requests are addressed accurately and efficiently. Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions, including order entries, issues, resolutions, and related correspondence. Update account records, modify contact information, and manage service orders. Refer complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments for further action. Proactively contact customers to follow up on inquiries or provide updates on claim investigations or order adjustments. Investigate and assess customer concerns by gathering relevant information to determine root causes, including external factors such as weather-related shipping delays. Accurately enter customer orders into the internal system, complete service scheduling, and send order summaries to customers. Recommend improvements in service delivery, packaging, shipping, or billing processes based on customer feedback and issue trends. Collaborate with internal compliance personnel to ensure proper handling and documentation of customer claims.
