About the role: As a Senior I&C Engineering Instructor you will create training procedures based on documents and NRC regulations for Westinghouse AP1000 and legacy plant PWR systems like integrated operations and maintenance. You will focus on items like procedures, background documents, piping and instrumentation drawings, functional logic diagrams, technical specifications and conduct of operations manual. You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager for Competency Development & Nuclear Operations. This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Madison, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. We can entertain candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity. Responsibilities: Create documents and training materials for AP1000 and legacy plant PWR systems like procedures, background documents, piping and Instrumentation drawings, functional logic diagrams, technical specifications and conduct of operations manual Implement training materials Implement training procedures like INPO documents and NRC regulations Write test questions that meet nuclear industry standards Search technical references such as the NRC and INPO websites for information like lessons learned and operating experience Use a Learning Management System (LMS) Use electronic data storage/retrieval databases like EDMS Qualifications: 5+ years of experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent or completion of United States Navy nuclear field pipeline training program Nuclear industry experience required Operating procedures, procedure background documents, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, functional logic diagrams, and other Technical Documents 25% travel #LI-Hybrid Why Westinghouse?
