The Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese at the University of Virginia is seeking an Intermediate Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative, purchasing and finance, and event support. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of office support functions including but not limited to: being the primary point of contact for visitors, answering phones, distributing mail, ordering and organizing office supplies, maintaining the Department Chair's calendar, coordinating and promoting department events, maintaining event calendar and news, updating the department web page, social media, and email lists. Other responsibilities include Account Certification, accepting payments via check and credit card, initiating purchasing and procurement requests for the department, arranging travel for faculty and guests, processing reimbursements and payment vouchers, and other duties as they arise. This position is located in Charlottesville, VA. This is an in-person position, with some evenings and weekends required. Anticipated Hiring Range: $22.62 - $26.00 hourly, commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt level, benefited position.
