Digital Print Operator

Compensation Grade:

BASIC PURPOSE:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate and maintain various printing equipment, including digital printing presses, wide format printers, copiers, scanners, CNC machine, envelope printer, and bindery equipment.

• Ensures the high-quality printing of documents, ensuring colors, formatting, and content are accurate and consistent.

• Troubleshoot and address technical issues with printing equipment promptly.

• Maintains accurate records of printing and mailing activities, including costs, quantities, and deadlines with the PrintSmith and SendPro systems.

• Inspects completed print requests to ensure accurate quantity and quality.

• Review and prepare documents for printing, including formatting, collating, and organizing materials as necessary.

• Assists in packaging printed materials for internal and external distribution and mailing.

• Cuts, folds, scores, collates, stitches, tabs, and laminates printed materials.

• Cleans and maintains copiers, presses, other equipment, and production and storage areas.

• Places service calls when needed for presses and other equipment.

• Maintain an inventory of printing supplies, including paper, ink, toner and reorder as necessary.

Drives the Bank's vehicles for pickups and deliveries, and to transport executive management and Bank employees to various locations.

Assists with the processing of the Bank and tenant mail, packages, and courier shipments.

Assists with meeting room set-ups.

Maintains a clean area to assure proper maintenance and accountability for all items in Print and Mail storage areas.

Handle confidential documents with discretion and ensure data security.

The primary physical activities of the job include doing the following for over two-thirds of the time:

• Remaining in a stationary position
• Using hands to finger, handle, or feel (such as sorting mail and preparing outgoing packages)
• Reaching with hands and arms
• Lifting up to 50 pounds

The secondary physical activities of the job include doing the following for one-third to two-thirds of the time:

• Stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Walking/traversing throughout the Bank's 11 floors and basement
• Lifting up to 100 pounds

The visual demands of the job include the following:

• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
• Depth perception (three-dimensional vision)
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Extensive knowledge of the operation and maintenance of printing techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work overtime with little advance notice.
• Must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and have the ability to meet deadlines by reprioritizing workflow and remaining flexible.
• Timely and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to smoothly interact with various levels of vendors and customers.
• A valid State of Georgia driver's license and the ability to drive Bank vehicles.

Two years of technical/college education and five to seven years of printing and related bindery equipment experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Location:This individual must reside within commuting distance from ourAtlanta, GAoffice. This position may not be filled in New Jersey, either in-person or remotely.

Work Schedule:Onsite with an opportunity to work remote partially.
