HonorHealth is looking for a Network Operations Supervisor that will support the Transfer Center. This role will oversee operations to ensure uninterrupted services and supervise daily activities within Network Operations that include compliance with policies, supporting different business segments, scheduling, hiring, employee training and evaluation of job duties and responsibilities. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, (BSN highly preferred), two (2) years experience within a related healthcare field and a current license in related field and certification in respective field within one (1) year of hire to meet magnet standards. To ensure success in the role attention to details, strong leadership skills along with knowledge of the hospital systems, and being a good collaborator and strong communication skills are key.

Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Supervisor-Central Operations is responsible for overseeing shift operations in the Network Operations Center to ensure uninterrupted operations including the coordination of patient movement, hospital throughput, communication, security dispatch, and operational continuity. The role involves supervising daily activities within the Network Operations Center, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting leadership in hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, and managing Network Operations Center personnel. The Supervisor is also accountable for implementing programs, setting goals and strategies, and ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring the center's efficiency, facilitating patient flow, and upholding operational integrity across the network.
  • Supervise staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and coaching. Develop employees to maximize productivity, ensure quality work, and align team objectives with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.
  • Actively support department operations, ensuring seamless workflow and achievement of organizational throughput goals. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Plans, establishes, and maintains the department schedule. Manages daily staffing needs and maintains responsibility for any scheduling activities.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with other department leaders, organizational stakeholders, and community members. Use data and evidence-based decision-making to enhance patient-centered care and operational excellence.
  • Promotes an environment that supports operational excellence by leading and directing the implementation of innovative technology and operational processes. Acts as a champion for department initiatives, driving improvements in throughput and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Required

Experience
2 years Experience within a healthcare related field Required

Licenses and Certifications
Current Arizona licensure in related field Required
Must obtain a certification in their respective area of expertise within 1 year of hire or promotion date for magnet standards. Required
