Reporting to VP of Sales, Global Pharma, the Strategic Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships with key customers in the Pharma, Biotech and CRO customer segments. The goal of these partnerships is to position our entire portfolio and scientific expertise as targeted applications-based solutions that drive sales in these key accounts. The role will also identify, develop and manage key strategic customers by signing supply agreement allowing to position CYTEK Biosciences in the LDT market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for identifying key pharma/Biotech/CRO accounts that are aligned with Cytek business objectives.
  • Responsible for developing a Strategic Account Plan that will identify the solution offerings we will position to these key customers to drive growth. The plan will also identify the key account team, including representatives from scientific affairs and R&D who will meet with the customer to develop the opportunity. The plan will include specific ownership, deliverables, revenue and profitability targets, and timelines for meeting our growth objectives in these targeted accounts.
  • Responsible for managing a cross-functional account team to execute Strategic Account Plan that ultimately results in incremental revenue.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience life sciences industry, including experience working directly with Pharma/Biotech and/or CRO customers.
  • Prior experience in selling into flow cytometry, immunology market and ideally managing large accounts.
  • A high results-orientation with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness
  • Strong strategic and coordinating skills
