Job Description: Medical Technologist (MT/MLT-) Full Time, Days Job Description: The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performance of a wide range oflaboratory testing and testing interpretation. Additionally, the position requires the ability to take assignedresponsibility for quality control, instrument maintenance, instrument and department related specialstudies, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and providing training and delegated competencyassessment for assigned staff. The position requires moderate use of independent judgement, criticalthinking and interpretation, and a high degree of accuracy. The Medical Technologist/Medical LaboratoryScientist has a broad educational knowledge of laboratory theory and concepts. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences, equivalent education, or Military Training as outlinedwithin the latest version of CLIA regulations. National Certification by ASCP, AMT, AAB or equivalent required within 6 months.
